Taking on the role of Executive Creative Director, White (near left)  is relocating from the USA where he has worked as the Executive Creative Director / Executive Vice President and Chief Design Officer of Doner, one of the world’s largest independent agencies.

The new role will see White manage Melbourne’s creative work with clients such as REA, Simplot, John West, Leggo’s, KMart and Brown Brothers.

Says Carl Ratcliff (above left), Managing Director of BWM Melbourne: “We’ve been on the search for the right person to help lead our growing Melbourne team. I knew when I first spoke to Murray that I had found my business match. We both have a big vision for the agency and about the journey on which we can take our clients.”

Before moving to the United States in 2009, White was the International Creative Director of Springer & Jacoby, Europe. In this time he was at the helm of some of the group’s most effective and awarded creative work on Olympus and Mercedes-Benz.

He has been awarded at Cannes, D&AD, Clio, Eurobest, Epica, LIAA, ADC etc. One of his TV spots was named one of the 10 commercials of the century by the Dutch Television Museum.

Murray lived and worked in Melbourne, London, Hamburg and Amsterdam before moving to Detroit. Having taken him all over the world, the Melbourne native is happy to finally be returning home.

Says White: “I’m truly fortunate to have worked with so many incredible brands and brand leaders all over the world. After many years abroad though, the opportunity to move back home and work with Australia’s biggest independent agency was too good to pass up.

“BWM is vibrant and growing, and I’m looking forward to bringing some of the creative inspiration I’ve gained internationally to a team renowned for getting Australians talking.”

Says Rob Belgiovane (above centre), BWM Executive Creative Director: “BWM has experienced exponential growth this past year. We saw a need to bring in a creative at an executive level in Melbourne to bring our clients an added depth of award winning experience.

“Murray is renowned internationally for big ideas across new and traditional media executed with precision and attention to detail. We’re excited to bring him on-board to lead our team in new and innovative directions,” he said.
