Still5 2.jpgCrank Films has recently launched its WWII documentary, ‘The Navigator’.

Released on ANZAC day, the 16 minute documentary tells the story of a WWII air force navigator reflecting on his adventures during the war. The documentary has been released simultaneously on ABC iView, The Age TV and Sydney Morning Herald TV and is available for streaming now.

The film features a powerful soundtrack from Crank Films’ composer Dmitri Golovko (‘Red Hill’ and Patrick Hughes’ ‘Signs’).

Says Rick Sutton, Fairfax Media, head of video: “We are very proud to be sharing this astonishingly brave man’s story, so beautifully told.”

Crank Films is pleased the film was released on this special day of remembrance. Online distribution has always been the most exciting route for the company to get their films out to as many people as possible and they’re excited to see the film finally make its way into the world.
