Heineken UCL The Final Still 3.jpgAs some of the best football teams in the world battle it out in the Quarter-Finals of the UEFA Champions League, Heineken unveils the latest instalment of the ‘Road to the Final’ with the launch of a new global ad campaign via W+K Amsterdam, demonstrating how, with imagination and resourcefulness, one man is able to witness club football’s most prestigious event – the Final itself.

Heineken UCL The Final Still 4.jpgHeineken UCL The Final Still 1.jpg‘The Final’ sees the Heineken Legend, a huge football fan, being presented with the opportunity of a lifetime – a ticket to the UEFA Champions League Final. The narrative follows him in a nail-biting race against the clock to get from the depths of the Amazon to the Final in London in just 48 hours. Along the journey, he uses a combination of resourcefulness, imagination and inventiveness to charm his way into the good graces of a variety of eccentric characters. They, in turn, help him stay on the move and make it to his Champions League pitch side seat with mere seconds to spare.

This latest instalment of the Heineken ‘Legends’ campaign was co-created with the same team as first two ‘Open Your World’ films (‘The Entrance’ and ‘The Date’) – W+K Amsterdam and Sonny London director Fredrik Bond.
