Award winning director/producer duo Dave Klaiber and Susannah DiLallo launch Rapid Films

Announcing the arrival of Rapid Films, a new film and content production company based in Sydney: founded by multi award winning director producer duo Dave Klaiber and Susannah DiLallo.

Klaiber and DiLallo have been a powerhouse team for the past 8 years working for every top creative agency in Australia and New Zealand across the biggest brands.

Says DiLallo: “We really see an opening in the market for a more responsive and more nimble approach to production. Our ambition is to always put the best pictures on the screen and foster a great working relationship with our clients where they feel listened to. We believe the best work is born from true collaboration, and if we can have a little fun along the way then why not.”

It’s this approach that has become their trademark – and can be seen on the screen with every project they do, big or small.

His skillful direction of talent, combined with comedic timing have garnered him numerous industry accolades including Cannes Lions, One Show pencils, D&AD, AWARD, London International and NY Festivals.

Says Klaiber: “It has always been a dream of ours to set up our own company ­­- one that has only been delayed because of our love for Plaza Films, but the time has come to throw our hats in the ring.”

Also joining the team at Rapid Films is Jonathan Nyquist (far left) and Alex Tizzard (middle, left).

Nyquist is a filmmaker in the traditional sense. An artist and storyteller, he is a director who is driven to deliver work that touches the viewer on an emotional and human level through a combination of engaging performances and powerful, cinematic visuals.

His producer, Tizzard, joins him – rounding out what is sure to be an exciting offering for the industry.

Says DiLallo: “We wanted our first hire to be someone we respected and knew had the same work ethic and love for the industry as we do, so Jonathan and Alex were our first choice.”
