The Lend Lease Sustainability Plan aims to tie sustainability into the heart of Lend Lease’s long-term business strategy, establishing simple, clear focus areas for the business to concentrate its efforts on the next phase of its sustainability journey.

Says Ben Peacock, founder and partner at Republic of Everyone: “We help businesses put themselves on a pathway from ordinary to extraordinary, where doing good is built into their brand. In a nutshell, we aim to make doing good, good for business. We commend Lend Lease for being courageous and pioneering the shift here in Australia.”

Taking the organisation through Republic of Everyone’s proprietary Hero Planning Process, the agency worked closely with key internal and external stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of how sustainability will play a critical role in driving innovation, new product development, employee engagement, customer relationships and community engagement in the future.

Says Cate Harris, head of sustainability for the Australian business: “Sustainability has always been a part of how we do business, it is in our DNA, and we have a number of world class examples that prove this. Our new focus will help us be a leader in the industry and achieve operational excellence.”
