Harrison was recently promoted to lead the new centralised national sales team as group sales director. The sales team will represent all publications previously managed within Metro Media, Financial Review Group (FRG), Fairfax Regional Media and Agricultural Media.

Paul Sigaloff (top, left) currently national sales director will become agency sales director expanding his responsibilities beyond the metro mastheads, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age, to include the FRG, Regional Media and Agricultural Media.

Simon Smith (top, right) currently commercial director for the Financial Review Group, moves into the newly-created position of media solutions director which will include key accounts, fx creative solutions, FRG events and the sales specialists covering all APM products and brands.

Chelsea Wymer (bottom, left) trade marketing director, and Jon Moffat (bottom, right) ad operations and systems director, will expand their current portfolios to include all assets under the APM structure.

Harrison said he was now recruiting for a direct sales director, pricing & inventory director and digital ad development director. A comprehensive internal and external search has commenced.

Says Harrison: “Media agencies are increasingly looking for solutions that extend well beyond traditional media. Combining Fairfax’s powerful media brands will see us deliver innovative and integrated advertising solutions at scale.

“I’m confident that this new structure will make sense to our advertisers and agencies and I’m sure they’ll appreciate the higher level of firepower that these changes provide.”
