DDP is the amalgam of the most talented post-production professionals with new generation technologists from the award-winning Australian post businesses of Deluxe/Cinevex, CornerPost, Digital Pictures and EFILM.

Today, DDP delivers best-in-class picture and sound post services across integrated facilities which now provide feature film, documentary, television drama and light entertainment services from on-set to delivery master all under the one umbrella. It embraces the benefits of advancing technologies but spins on the axis of making great stories better.

Ian Anderson in Melbourne and Marcus Bolton in Sydney, two seasoned and accomplished post-production executives will manage the new DDP studios.

Anderson, DDP’S Melbourne general manager, explained the philosophy behind the new Studio.

Says Anderson: “In bringing our great teams together as a combined studio we stepped back and asked ourselves a very simple question; what is it that motivates us to come to work and do good work? The unanimous answer was that we are driven by contributing to the storytelling process and by making the great stories our clients bring us even better – irrespective of whether it’s film or TV, drama, documentary or reality.”

DDP Studios operates from three sites; Crows Nest and Lane Cove in Sydney and South Melbourne, and is powered by Deluxe’s global technical capability and expertise.

Says Bolton: “Screen production equipment is ever changing and offers infinite possibilities. We live and breathe this techie stuff everyday and it can be so easy for clients to get overloaded with choosing file types, camera formats and digital workflows. We believe technology should never get in the way of a good story.”

Says Anderson: “We’re about people first, technology second – Our digital architects take the time to get to the technical heart of a project and design the best end-to-end digital roadmap allowing our clients to direct all their energy towards storytelling.”

DDP Studios provides the full suite of post production services including Digital Architecture, on-set or near-set colour & data management, in-house, on-location or in-production editorial, online finishing, colour grading, VFX & Sound design as well as mastering & delivery for any size of screen.
