DaleyPearson.jpgBrisbane based director Daley Pearson has officially joined Infinity Squared for selected writing and directing projects. At just 26 years of age, Pearson created, wrote and directed his first television comedy series The Strange Calls for ABC TV.

Last Friday, June 28th, Screen Australia announced it would be investing in another one of Pearson’s projects: ” #7 Days Later” as part of a $2.5 million investment in a slate of innovative, multi platform productions. Pearson will be directing the series and co-writing it with Nick Boshier, one of Infinity Squared’s partners and co-creator of Youtube brands Bondi Hipsters and Beached Az.

As the series unfolds, each week the audience will write a brief via social media for an all-new episode of #7 Days Later featuring a well-known guest-star, with an ensemble cast of YouTube celebrities such as Boshier (Bondi Hipsters, Beached Az), Alex Williamson, John Luc (Mychonny), Theodore Saidden and Nathan Saidden (SuperWog1). Seven days later, that week’s episode will premiere across multiple platforms. The series is produced by Dave Jansen (E/P of Infinity Squared), Nick Boshier, Daley Pearson and Charlie Aspinwall, with series producer Michelle Hardy.

The intensive multi-platform strategy behind the series is the brainchild of Tom Phillips, former managing partner of TCO who has recently launched The Creators – a company specialising in the management of social talent partnerships.
