MEDIA RELEASE Chobani Happy Fridge.jpgChobani Australia is calling on eligible workplaces in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth to get involved in a new social media campaign – Chobani Happy Fridge. With the aim of inspiring workplaces to be healthy and happier, people are invited to share a photo of their ‘sad’ workplace fridge to go in the draw to win a fridge full of hand-delivered Chobani Greek Yogurt.

Says Damian Young, general manager of marketing at Chobani Australia: “Everyone has a ‘sad fridge’ in their office, full of un-inspiring and often neglected food, like old, wilting vegetables, expired milk and unidentified food objects (UFOs).

“We are offering eligible workplaces in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth the chance to cheer up their work fridge by filling it with our delicious, authentic strained Chobani Greek Yogurt and turning it into a ‘happy fridge’.”

Says Emily Houlahan, accredited practising dietitian and communications manager at Chobani Australia: “We’re recognising that Australian workers are often time-poor, and healthy eating can fall off the to-do list when there’s work to be done.

“Authentic strained Greek yogurt like Chobani is low in fat and a good source protein, making it a satisfying and convenient option for busy people. Plus there are fourteen different flavours, so the hardest decision will be which one to try first! With this initiative, we’re hoping to inspire people to make better choices during the work day by filling their workplace fridge with simple, delicious yogurt.”

To participate, entrants need to go to www.happyfridge.com.au and upload a photo of their ‘sad fridge’ direct to the website or via Instagram. Chobani Australia will showcase their favourite photos on the hub, with the entries judged to be the best winning a Chobani make-over. Winners will be notified by phone to arrange their delivery of Chobani Greek Yogurt. Entries will be open from 9.00am AEST 8 July 2013 to 11.59pm AEST 28 July,

2013.
