He is the 6th Australian to be announced on the LIA 2013 Jury, a true reflection of Australia’s great creative talent pool.

Mescall ranks as one of Australia’s most successful and respected creatives. Previously he was executive creative director at SMART and creative director at JWT.

He has been recognized and awarded both as a creative director and as a writer at all the major international and regional awards competitions. He is also the only Australian creative director to have had work awarded in TED Ads Worth Spreading. In addition to McCann’s current clients, Mescall’s extensive experience includes adidas, Kraft, Nestle, Nike, Rolex, Shell and Ford.

He joins fellow Jurors from Australia and New Zealand announced earlier this year: Ben Coulson, John Mescall, Michael Ritchie, Ralph Van Dijk, Matty Burton, Anna Fawcett and George McKenzie.

Says Barbara Levy, president of LIA: “We are absolutely thrilled that John has agreed to join the Integration Panel this year and we must mention and congratulate him on his recent honours for the Metro Campaign ‘Dumb Ways to Die’. It really is quite an extraordinary achievement and we look forward to welcoming him in Las Vegas in October.”

The LIA Call for Entry Deadline is 15th July, 2013
