Clemenger BBDO Melbourne and SapientNitro appointed as CUB’s digital agency partners

CB Exclusive – After a lengthy competitive pitch, CUB has appointed Clemenger BBDO, Melbourne and SapientNitro and as its digital agencies. 

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne managing partner Paul McMillan is delighted with the win. 

Says McMillan: “CUB is really important to us. We love working on their business and it’s hugely rewarding to have our digital capabilities recognised as being at the same high standard as our creative abilities. We’re going to have a Carlton Draught or two to celebrate.”

Says Paul Bennett, national managing director at SapientNitro: “We are thrilled with this news – there are exciting digital marketing opportunities across this incredible range of brands, and we are delighted CUB has acknowledged SapientNitro for our capabilities in both technology and digital marketing.”

SapientNitro’s assignment includes being agency of record for a range of brands in the beer and cider portfolios. In addition, SapientNitro becomes the technology provider for all 12 CUB brands and will support their digital platforms, customer marketing and technology delivery.

SapientNitro will be collaborating closely with CUB’s creative agency, Clemenger BBDO, and will also be handling social media for several of the national brands. The agency commences work immediately on the account.

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne is CUB’s advertising agency across all its brands, including VB, Carlton Draught, Crown Lager, Cascade, Strongbow and Carlton Dry.
