This morning the enterprise launched a couple of helicopters with banners in Melbourne and Sydney’s skies that read “Hey Coles, thank you for changing the world! (If you say ‘yes’)” and “Hey Woolworths, together we can change the world! (If you say ‘yes’).”

Thankyou is a social enterprise that exists for the sole purpose of funding food, water and hygiene projects in developing nations through Thankyou Food, Thankyou Water and Thankyou Body Care. Each product sold provides at least one week of food, drinking water, or hygiene training to someone in need.

Since Thankyou launched the campaign mid last week, thousands of Australians, including comedian Peter Helliar, TV and radio presenter Dylan Lewis, former basketball superstar Andrew Gaze, and olympic champion swimmer Nicole Livingstone have voiced their support across Facebook and Twitter.

They’ve even been given a word of encouragement from the US, with Becca Tobin from hit TV show Glee uploading a video of support.
