Vincent130x130.jpgVincent Sider, will headline Engage – a new one-day, two-city event in November 2013 that focuses on the four golden rules of customer engagement – technology, customer experience, data and loyalty.

Engage runs from 8am-5pm in Sydney on Tuesday 12 November at Luna Park and on Thursday 14 November at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Sider is the VP of Social for BBC Worldwide, the world’s most respected broadcaster. He is also P&L owner[1] of TopGear (UK), the broadcaster’s most engaged brand.

Says Jodie Sangster, ADMA CEO: “Engage is the only event in Australia that truly addresses customer engagement. This is a key challenge for today’s marketer: how to retain, engage and inspire customers. We have created “Engage” to give marketers and advertisers the chance to focus on customer engagement strategy, one of the most challenging elements of a successful marketing program.

“International and local speakers will share how they’ve succeeded in engaging consumers. Participants will take away real and practical tips and insights they can apply immediately to their own customer engagement strategies or their customers’ businesses.”

Fifteen customer engagement experts from abroad and locally will discuss:

  • Technology (how to leverage the right technologies to optimise the quality of customer interaction)
  • Customer experience (utilising all touch-points to provide your customers with a unique/branded experience that drives loyalty)
  • Data (understanding the critical points in harnessing customer data to collect and understand patterns that will enable you to distribute targeted messaging) loyalty (how rewarding loyal customers builds brand ambassadors and multiples brand value and engagement).

Tune into this VP from BBCW

Marketers will be keen to hear from BBCWs’ Sider, an entrepreneur in both start-up and corporate environments with hybrid expertise between marketing and technology. Several BBCW programs like TopGear, Dr Who and BBC Earth have become huge media properties in their own right with TopGear being the BBCW’s largest brand.

Sider will discuss the depth of engagement and loyalty viewers have with TopGear, revealing how the program now makes as much revenue in the non-TV arena as it does in TV.

Other speakers include:

  • Loyalty: Steve Baird, Head of Marketing and Analytics – Velocity Frequent Flyer, on The new loyalty: from individuals to families to pets and beyond!
  • Customer experience: Matt Bruhn, Marketing and Innovation Director-Diageo Australia, on Educating consumers on the art of mixing (tapping into the trend of ‘premiumisation’ to respond to customer tastes and purchasing habits, empowering consumers with freedom and confidence to bolster the customer experience)
  • Data: Shaden Mohamed, Executive General Manager of Digital Marketing and Distribution-Wotif Group, on Wotif we redefine our perception of ‘customer’ (challenging traditional stereotypes of demographics and target market, maximising your digital marketing budget)
