People who follow the project will be encouraged to respond to a weekly advertising brief in the form of a black and white one stroke visual – a ‘quickie’ (otherwise known as a ‘scamp’).

The Quickie Project provides an online networking environment that is linked to social media. This encourages students to form working relationships with one another and build connections within the industry, whilst professionals are encouraged to mentor students in whom they see potential.

The content is not exclusive to the advertising world and the project welcomes the input of all creative minds.

Says Jaz Burstall, RMIT student: “We are looking to engage a wide audience across tertiary education and professional environments within Australia and ultimately internationally.”
