Airbag Prod. lures Jasmin Tarasin as director

jasmin.jpgTarasin’s hallmark is honest and intimate work, which finds the beauty in the everyday.  Her fearless approach to directing has lead to success internationally not only in TVC’s but in documentary, film, music videos and installations.

 

Says Airbag EP, Victoria Conners-Bell: “Jasmin is a wonderful addition to the Airbag family. I have been following her career over a number of years and am a huge fan of her work. She is dedicated to the craft of filmmaking and creates beautiful images and stories.”

Tarasin has worked locally and internationally on campaigns for Pantene, Dove, Foxtel, Commonwealth Bank, Woolworths, Bank of Queensland, Target and Sony.

She was recently nominated for both a NSW Premier Award and AFI award for her documentary Utopia Girls. ‘Live’ a video installation featuring Julliette Lewis, Jarvis Cocker, Feist, Sarah Blasko and Martha and Rufus Wainwright premiered at the as part of the Sydney Arts Festival and is slated to screen in Los Angeles next year.
