Taxi’s Stephen Lance horsing around Gatsby style for Ladbrokes via agency Engine Group

Stephen Lance has thrown an extravagant Gatsby-inspired house party capturing all of the grandeur of the roaring twenties for the Australian launch of betting agency Ladbrokes via agency Engine Group.

With every room filled by big band music, flowing champagne, and the Charleston danced in every corner, Stephen worked closely with top choreographer Anthony Ikin to capture all of the movement and performances in a single shot.

Says Lance: “The idea was to homage Gatsby. I wanted to create something intricate to reflect the scale and beauty of Gatsby.”

Cutting Edge then took the reins bringing the Ladbrokes character to life compositing in an actual horses head onto the shoulders of the man of the hour.
