The campaign which is being fueled by a number of high profile personalities, gives shoppers the opportunity to share Christmas cheer by creating hilarious customised .GIFs to receive a 20% discount off their next General Pants purchase.

normal.jpgCelebrities who are getting on board include Samantha Jade, singer/songwriter and winner of The X-Factor 2012, Tim Dormer, winner of Big Brother 2013, Adam Ashley-Cooper, top Rugby player, Pip Edwards, fashion stylist and General Pants Co.’s design director and Prinnie Stevens, singer, dancer, songwriter and presenter.

To create a custom General Pants .GIF, people are advised to visit the website and upload their photo, their mate’s photo or both to create a .GIF which can be shared with five friends who will also be eligible to receive 20% off any item at General Pants Co.

The four GIFs that can be shared are:

  • The Wrecking Ball -Arguably the most parodied pop-culture reference of this year, The Wrecking Ball .GIF requires little explanation. Simply upload a photo to swing around like Miley. No hammer licking required
  • Aerobics – Work it like Fonda with this .GIF that has three lyrca clad dancers busting out some old school aerobic moves
  • The Twerk – Many have tried, but few have master this hypnotising dance move, twerking. General Pants Co. filmed a real-life local twerking expert to create this.GIF 90’s
  • House Party – Boom box at the ready, this .GIF can feature a photo of you and a mate kicking it 90’s style

Once they have created their .GIF they can redeem your discount by showing their .GIF at any of the 47 General Pants stores across Australia or using the promo code GETGIFTED at the online check out.
