This is just so good.
Classic Mick. Good one. My only concern is that it’s for a scam-calibre client.
Why should all the young ones have all the fun…or what’s left of it!
That’s your ONLY concern? How about the fact that you have to be over 40 to even get the reference – a point the boys were so aware of they baked it into the headline of their press release?
How about the fact that even when you do get it, it’s just not all that good?
The most creative product demonstration since probably 1967.
I like it, but think most young gay men in the market won’t know the footage it refers too.
Ok 1;47, my OTHER concern is that Mick appears in the commercial.
This is one of those ads that needs a press-release to make sense.
Hey Old CD Guy, it can’t be Mick Hunter, he’s got too much hair on his back!
Clearly he’s been the beneficiary of the client’s product – and that of a weight-loss clinic, 5:57.
You don’t need to be of any particular age to”get it” you just need an inquisitive mind, of which it seems you’re lacking. That’s why you’re no doubt rubbish at whatever you do.
I got the ad, and liked it a lot. But I’m not sure if I’d seen the ad without seeing the press release first, whether I’d have got it or not. I suppose I’ll never know. Dammit.
i know the footage. I know mardi gras. i get the mistaking eyesight thing going on. the only thing i can think of is ‘Bears’ rather than ‘big foot’ at a mardi gras. i honestly don’t get it. can someone explain. i feel dumb (honestly) and it’s a ‘best ad’
Sounds here like a bunch of baby boomers laughing at the Gen Y-ers for not ‘getting it’. I agree with boo. What the hell is the connection?
Let me explain it. Big foot has got no hair because he’s been to a laser hair removal clinic. And this is what a lot of people do before they go to Mardi Gras. Get it?
