SapientNitro wins Silver Telly award for Tourism Tropical North Queensland’s ‘1 Day in Paradise’

Pascal.jpgSapientNitro Australia has won a Silver Telly award for the “1 Day in Paradise” campaign for Tourism Tropical North Queensland – the awards’ highest honour.

The campaign – which saw 20 Australian filmmakers and storytellers help showcase the vast array of locations and experiences in the region – was featured on a dedicated YouTube channel and received cinema, TV and online marketing support.

The 35th annual telly Awards received more than 12,000 entries from around the world, judged by a panel of past winners, The awards honour the very best film and video productions, groundbreaking online video content, and outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials and programs.

SapientNitro creative director Ralph Barnettt said the highly successful TTNQ campaign would be continuing this year, in conjuction with the team at TEQ (Tourism Events Queensland).

Says Barnett: “Evolving this campaign will be exciting working with the winning director from phase one, Justin McMillan who is an incredible storyteller with a bag of exciting tricks up his sleeve.”
