Wrigley’s 5 Gum launches new ‘intensi5 your world’ 5 Gum Strawberry photo app via Traffik
5 Gum and Traffik have today launched ‘intensi5 your world’ with a new 5 Gum Strawberry photo app engaging consumers to share their intensi5 photos to the 5 Gum facebook page for the chance to win a pair of Ray-Ban folding wayfarers.
Says Nigel Hickey, retail director at Traffik: “Launching a new product line without media support seems to be a growing challenge faced by marketers. Path to purchase strategies need to work harder for brands to remain relevant to retailers and shoppers.
Intensi5 your world is the kind of outcome we love. Shopper marketing, digital and social all living together harmoniously to create a seamless consumer experience.”
Says Edwina Murphy, brand manager at 5 Gum: “intensi5 your world is an exciting platform for 5 Gum to ‘be where the consumers are’ across social and digital channels to drive brand awareness to ultimately influence the consumer decision at shelf. At Wrigley, we are excited to launch intensi5 your world in support of the new 5 Gum Strawberry and believe it captures the spirit of the brand and it’s intense flavour to inspire connections, discovery and connections with the consumer. It’s a simple idea – well executed in the Australian and New Zealand market.”

I already have a great filter app on my phone. The best thing about it? All my friends are already on it.
Why do I need another one where I can hang out with fellow fans of gum? It just doesn’t make any sense.
Oh. To win a pair of Ray Bans? ….Now I get it.

Yeah, it’s called advertising.
“It’s a simple idea – well executed in the Australian and New Zealand market.”
An idea so simple, it’s non-existent. Or is a filter an idea now? WHY? Why spend money making this? Did any of you ask yourselves this question???
I personally look forward to my campaign brief email each day just to laugh at all the haters, there’s an old saying if you can’t say anything positive ” Shutt up ”
Wow, you get an email each day? How sad…
btw it’s ‘Shut up’ not ‘Shutt’.
Just sayin’.
