Simonds urges people to ‘get out, get out fast!’ in a new retail campaign via T20 Group Melbourne

Screen Shot 2014-05-06 at 9.27.45 am.jpgSimonds Homes has launched a major new retail campaign via T20 Group Melbourne, for its Express range of homes. Using the line, ‘get out, get out fast’ the campaign highlights how quickly and inexpensively people can get into an Express home.

Says Daniel Senia R&D / marketing manager of Simonds: “Many people simply want to get out of where they’re living and into their own place as quickly as possible. Simonds Express enables them to do that. It’s a unique product offering for the category and we wanted to launch it in a distinctive way.”

Says Brett Balsters, T20 Group client business manager: “We knew that many of the potential customers for Simonds Express were either renting, sharing or had moved back in with their parents to save for a deposit. Most of them are doing this under sufferance, making compromises in their personal life. That’s what this campaign focuses upon.”

The campaign features two 30-sec TVCs directed by Brett D’Souza via Annix Films. Featuring an ice-sculpting ‘flatmate’ and a dad building a nuclear reactor in the garage, the commercials highlight extreme ‘get out, get out fast’ moments.

Says Andrew Panozzo, joint creative director of T20 Group: “It’s not often you get to work with a unicorn carved out of ice. While the executions are out there, the insight is something most people can identify with.”

The integrated campaign also features POS, press and digital.
