Media chief executive officers encouraged to get behind Vinnies CEO Sleepout fundraiser

Andrew Gibson.jpgMore than 100,000 people sleep rough in Australia each night. Claude Group CEO Andrew Gibson (left) is hoping other media identities will get behind St Vincent de Paul Society and partake in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout.

 

The fundraiser runs in every capital city. CEOs put themselves in the situation of someone less fortunate and spend a night out in the winter cold.

 

Sitting in 6th place as far as donations raised in NSW, Gibson said this was a good opportunity for other people in our industry to band together and raise some well-needed funds for Vinnies.

Says Gibson: “This is the fourth year our company has been involved with the Sleepout. I am part of 265 other NSW CEOs who are going to brave the cold mid-June to help Vinnie’s with their awareness program and services that help thousands each year.”

Gibson suggests that anyone reading this should forward it to their CEO and encourage them to get involved.

 

The Vinnies CEO Sleepout will be held on Thursday, June 19, in all capital cities.
