Smith comes from a four-year stint in the US where he worked at R/GA New York and latterly Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Boulder, Colorado.

In New York, Smith taught at Miami ad school and became a CD on the Mastercard international account as well as working on other projects across the network during his time at R/GA.

While at CP+B Smith skied a lot and co-created the Powered By Pizza campaign for Domino’s. Last month he helped launch The Vacation Equality Project for Hotels.com which aims to put 100,000 signatures on the desk of the White House to enact a minimum vacation law for the 85 million Americans that don’t get any vacation.

Before working in the States, Smith worked at Lowe and spent over three years at Droga5 Sydney where he won at Cannes and D&AD for his V Australia 4320 campaign and for the Right Music Wrongs work for Virgin Mobile.

Says Paul Nagy, ECD of Clemenger BBDO: “Ben’s been here just three days and has already made a huge impression. Talented, sharp as a tack, and a genuine, down-to-earth guy. No ego – just loads of inspiration. I’m a lucky ECD.”
