Entries now open for the Ciclope International Festival of Craft: Deadline September 26th

Entries are now open to the Ciclope International Festival of Craft, to be held in Berlin on 6th and 7th November 2014. In its 5th year, the Festival will continue honoring the art of execution in more than 20 categories, including Direction, Visual Effects, 3D Animation, Sound Design and Music Video, among others. Entries must be submitted before September 26!

Ciclope Festival is the only international event fully dedicated to the “craft” in moving image. In the last few years, it has become a platform for directors, creatives, artists, producers, digital creatives and clients to share knowledge, be inspired and celebrate the best work.

Unlike advertising festivals, Ciclope Festival focuses on the art of execution, rather than the ideas. Whether it’s a TV commercial, a mobile app or an interactive installation, the belief is that  a good execution is as important as the idea, and extremely determinant for the consumer’s experience.

The jury personally attends the festival to watch and discuss the best work across the different participants according to the level of excellence. Starting this year, due to a deep commitment with brilliance, the jury will not give away bronze, silver and gold medals anymore, but it will curate a collection of the very best of the year in different categories, together with a list of finalist works. The winning pieces will be showcased during the awards ceremony in Berlin and, together with the finalists, will be included in a multimedia book, with comments by part of the jury.
