VisionEyeInstitue_0154.jpgVision Eye Institute has recently released a new cinema commercial via Highway 101.

The animation TVC was done by The Magnificent Itch.

Says Ian Minter, creative director, Highway 101: “This is the third time we’ve worked with Magnificent Itch, for very good reasons: we seem to be on the same wavelength, they produce individual, stylish work, they make the most of a tight budget and their work has proven to be very effective for our clients. Hopefully we will be working together on another project soon.”

VisionEyeInstitue_0276.jpgIt was decided to give the commercial a ‘Cartoon Modern’ look for a timeless and dependable feel. It was animated in 2D and given a funky, brassy soundtrack.

Says Stefan Wernik, director, The Magnificent Itch: ”Although we make a lot of 3D animation it’s always a pleasure to go back to our roots and create some 2D work, it’s where I started and it’s great to have that hand crafted feel.”

The cinema commercial is part of a campaign which will also see the ad shown on screens in Fitness First. The Magnificent Itch also provided Images of the main character for cinema DigiLites.
