ben ross.jpgThe annual R U OK? Golf Day will be held on Friday 28 November at Moore Park Golf Course, Sydney to help raise funds and awareness for suicide prevention charity R U OK?

R U OK? was founded in 2009 by the late Gavin Larkin who wanted to create a world without suicide after experiencing the suicide death of his father, Barry Larkin.

The not-for-profit organisation has just held its sixth national day of action, R U OK? Day, which has become one of Australia’s most recognised suicide prevention awareness campaigns.

R U OK? ambassador and former NRL player Ben Ross (pictured) will be on hand at this year’s golf event to defend his title.

Whether you book as an individual, a team of four or sign up for the sponsorship package, the R U OK? Golf Day is a great way to remember Gavin and help continue his legacy.

The 18-hole Ambrose competition – suitable for all levels – starts with a shot gun tee-off at 8.00 a.m. after registration, bacon and egg rolls and coffee. Tickets are available for individuals ($150), a team of 4 ($550) or hole sponsor packages ($1000, including team registration and hole signage).

Tickets include: green fees, breakfast, drinks on course, lunch and drinks at reception.

To discuss sponsorship, please contact R U OK?’s general manager, Brendan Maher via email at brendan@ruokday.com.au.
