Petrol power is ‘so yesterday’ in new spots for Ryobi’s 36 Volt range via Fenton Stephens
Ryobi is continuing to bring new product innovation to the power garden tool market as seen in the latest campaign via Fenton Stephens for its new range of 36 Volt Garden Tools.
The spots demonstrate that these Ryobi battery powered tools have the grunt to really take it up to the traditional petrol powered garden tools.
The garden tools go to work clearing a heavy overgrowth, an overgrowth which yields to the power of chainsaws, hedge-trimmers, line-trimmers, blowers and lawnmowers. When the overgrowth is cleared and the job is done, the spots reveal a delapidated petrol station as something that is ‘so yesterday’.
The line for the campaign is: ‘Ryobi 36V Garden Range. Today’s power in the garden.’
The integrated campaign, created by Fenton Stephens, runs on national television, supported by animated banners and magazine ads.

Why are they tidying up a petrol station if you don’t need petrol anymore?
I guess it’s a redundant petrol station, that’s why it is overgrown with stuff. Makes total sense.
Is it stay long with battery power tool?
so can save a lot of gasoline
How much could you possibly save if you’re gonna use it instead of petrol powered tools?
Can it run last for 2 hour? I consider to buy cordless or cored weed eater now
Ryobi is my favorite brand
wow, fanstatic DIY project. Looks great.
Any idea on what the battery life is like after a year of weekly use? My yard is over 1 acre that I maintain and I’d hate to move to an electric weed eater if it can’t hold a charge long enough to get the job done.
