The agency has created a website www.dancingforunicef.com where visitors to the site can make staff dance and watch it on a live stream. For every song staff dance to, the agency will donate $50 to UNICEF. Between the hours of 3-4pm each day, visitors can pick a song from a playlist and hit the “Make us Dance” button. An air-horn will then sound in the agency office, which means staff have a 10-second mad scramble to reach the dance floor. From there, the music blares throughout the office and it’s a matter of sitting back to watch the talented staff pop an assortment of caterpillars, running mans, sprinklers, twerks, backspins, snakes and bus drivers.

Says Bernie Johnson, agency director: “I’m turning 40 next year, so my doof-doof days are a few years behind me. Most of our staff are much younger and still love cutting shapes, so we thought “why not?” Dancing is already a way of life in the agency, it’s an expression of who we are. If we can raise a bit of cash for UNICEF whilst pulling off some hectic moves this Christmas, then it’s a win-win.”

The initiative also coincides with Adrenalin Media’s 10th Anniversary Year.
