Interbrand hires Paul Hoskins as transformation director in its Melbourne office and Andy Wood as associate director of strategy in Sydney office

Paul and Andy.jpgInterbrand Australia has announced the appointment of two new strategy hires with Paul Hoskins (left) stepping into the newly created national position of transformation director and Andy Wood (right) joining the Sydney office as associate director of strategy.

 

Says Nick Davis, general manager, Interbrand Melbourne: “We are very excited to welcome both Paul and Andy to Interbrand. Over the past 12 months we’ve had significant wins in the energy, retail, digital and arts sectors and it’s a good time to build on these successes.

“These newly created roles will help us bolster our evolving strategy services, and both Paul and Andy bring with them a wealth of experience. As more and more sectors are being subjected to disruptive forces,  there is an increased demand for transformational brand strategies. These hires are part of our focus on helping clients create and navigate change.”

Hoskins joins Interbrand from Medibank where he was head of branding and digital, leading a major brand re-launch and managing multiple streams of a digital transformation program. He brings diverse sector experience and a strong understanding of the brand and technology intersect. Hoskins’ previous clients include ANZ, Visa, Carlsberg, Toyota, Proctor & Gamble, Sony, Xerox and monster.com.

 

Says Hoskins: “It’s an exciting time to be joining Interbrand. The scope for brand to help guide organisations as they reorient and transform for a digital future is huge. I’m looking forward to developing our product to meet a whole new set of client requirements.”

 

Wood joins Interbrand Sydney from Principals where he held the position of strategy consultant. Wood has worked on a varied client list including Australian Bureau of Statistics, BankWest, Bluescope Steel, BWS, Dan Murphy’s, Hyundai, Telstra and Vodafone.
