Stryker.jpgWorld leading medical manufacturing company Stryker has launched a new integrated communications campaign to market its high tech surgical products to surgeons and hospital practitioners created by independent creative agency Mr Mumbles.

The Stryker Viewer Kit is a print brochure brought to life by an augmented-reality based app that works on smart devices, allowing viewers to forge a deeper connection with Stryker’s product range by having access to in-depth bespoke content demonstrating the benefits of the medical equipment.

Stryker 2.jpg.jpgThe brochure displays the company’s hero products (including reconstructive, neuro-technology and spine products) and is designed to capture the interest of new customers including new surgeon consultants and communicate the value of working with Stryker products.

Partnering with development company Triggar – Mr Mumbles designed the information rich 20-page brochure creative around the idea of a medical instrument sterilisation case.

Says Andrew Town, creative partner at Mr Mumbles: “Stryker is all about building innovative solutions for health care professionals so it’s important that the comms piece reflects this. As it’s the consumer’s first tangible experience with Stryker, it should show that the connection the product has with surgeons is second to none.”

Says Lisa Kane, consumer brand marketing at Stryker: “We are really impressed with Mr Mumbles creative solution – it is an innovative introduction to Stryker for new customers and via the app creates a digital layer of content that is engaging and informative.”

Due to the cloud-based CMS, the app will be easy to update as new products are released to market. The brochure is also designed as a tool for Stryker sales reps and will be distributed throughout Australia and New Zealand.
