Escapism is only a click away in new campaign for SKY’s service Neon via DDB New Zealand
DDB NZ has launched its latest campaign, which encourages viewers to escape with Neon, the subscription video on demand service (SVOD), powered by SKY.
The campaign, which suggests escapism is only a click away, includes a 45″ TVC that shows the world ‘switching off when you switch on Neon’. It is supported by outdoor and a series of digital ads that introduce Neon’s content and uses the shows’ characters as the heroes.
Neon offers Kiwis some of the best, curated content including exclusive access to leading TV series, hundreds of movies and factual titles and documentaries. A partnership with HBO means popular content is only available through Neon online in New Zealand, including hit TV series such as Girls and Game of Thrones.
Says Damon Stapleton, DDB’s chief creative officer: “Being able to escape to world class entertainment is what people want and Neon delivers on this. Our campaign helps take the viewer through that portal to a place of effortless escapism.”
Says Sorrel Davies, marketing manager for Neon: “We all need a break from our busy lives and Neon is the ticket to instant escape. DDB have really captured what Neon is about and helped bring this idea to life.”
The TVC is just the beginning of a digital journey that will change people’s viewing habits, according to Haydn Kerr, DDB digital creative director.
Says Kerr: “Neon is set to become one of New Zealand’s most exciting digital brands and we have some exciting interactive work in the pipeline that really showcases this.”
