Limehouse Creative has today announced the appointment of Ian Connor to the position of creative director, as part of its strategy to scale up business offerings.

With over 12 years’ experience across the Australian and UK markets, Connor joins Limehouse from his previous role as head of retouching at M&C Saatchi, where he produced campaign imagery for brands including Google, Optus and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

Says James Lucas, executive creative director at Limehouse: “I’m delighted to welcome Ian to the team. As one of Australia’s top retouchers, his creative skills and additional experience in 3D and studio management will ensure our exemplary team has the creative oversight it needs.”

Connor’s role is one of three newly created positions following a re-alignment of leadership and services at Limehouse, with video production specialist Victoria Cotter appointed as head of production, and new business expert Byron Matthews joining as new business director.

Limehouse managing director, Duncan Harriss, said that 2015 is a big year for the company, with the new appointments allowing Limehouse to scale up business without compromising on the quality or delivery of work.

Says Hariss: “It’s always been the unique blend of business expertise and creative talent that sets Limehouse apart. Victoria’s previous work managing video production for Frame Set & Match, along with her agency side work for clients including Vodafone, enables us to further expand our business offerings, as we can now offer post-production to moving images to complement our stills work.

“Byron’s appointment is also key to our immediate and long-term business objectives, with his international experience promoting luxury brands including Rolex, Cartier and Hennessey ensuring he is well placed to co-lead operations, nurture existing client relationships and source new business.”

Says Matthews: “Limehouse has consistently been voted as one of the top 3D and retouching studios in Australia, so I’m thrilled to be joining the stellar team lineup and looking forward to contributing to its next generation of growth.”
