IGA encourages locals to enjoy Easter with its new integrated campaign via Creative Oasis
The Independent Grocers of Australia, IGA, has launched its new Easter campaign titled, ‘Enjoy your Easter’ via Creative Oasis. The new campaign positions IGA as the destination to help its customers enjoy Easter, whatever the occasion.
Easter represents four days of freedom for customers to enjoy however they choose, whether that means hosting a barbecue, going on holiday, visiting friends or spending time with family. With this understanding, the new campaign from IGA encourages customers to enjoy their Easter with delicious treats, recipe Easter recipe ideas and special savings available across its large network of local stores.
The integrated campaign will bring ‘Enjoy your Easter’ to life through a series of 15 second TV commercials (released soon), which will also see the return of brand ambassador Anh Do. The campaign will also be supported with digital and social media activity, blogger engagement and in-store displays.
As part of the campaign’s offering, IGA has created six easy and delicious recipe ideas for its shoppers for the Easter long-weekend. These will feature in their catalogues and on the website. From the savory delights of Greek Lamb Salad, Prawn and Zucchini Fritters and Maple Barbequed Salmon to providing a clever idea for the kids to use their leftover Easter eggs with a Choc Cornflake Slice, there is a recipe to suite every taste and occasion.
Madeleine Fitzpatrick, general manager marketing, Metcash Food and Grocery sees IGA as playing an important part in helping its customers to enjoy their Easter.
Says Fitzpatrick: “We know that Easter is one of the busiest times of the year for Australian domestic travel, and with 1,400 stores country-wide customers can be confident that wherever they are travelling to they will be welcomed at the local IGA with everything they need to enjoy their Easter celebration.”
The IGA Easter campaign will run from 25 March until 5 April.

No wonder Metcash’s shares are tanking.
Atrocious in every way.
How is it atrocious? It’s light family friendly work that isn’t trying too hard. Atrocious is such an over statement. Maybe your latest spot was atrocious, and this is how you make yourself feel better. Maybe.
Probably.
Almost definitely.
@adland at its best
I’d be more than happy to show you my latest spot. It makes this work look like a business.
If you think this is good work you should get out of the industry.
