Momentum Energy launches the third instalment in its ‘Try the Switch’ campaign via T20 Group

Screen Shot 2015-03-30 at 8.08.58 am.jpgMomentum Energy has launched the latest commercial for its gas offering, part of the “Try the Switch” campaign via T20 Group.

Employing the same quirky sense of humour as the other two electricity spots, the gas ad shows a man attempting to light his gas BBQ. He tries everything known to backyard-man, even a lighter requiring a welding mask, but nothing seems to work. Eventually, his wife asks him the all-important question, ‘have you tried the switch?’

The ad was directed by Matt Chuang from The Director’s Group, and features a talented stage actor who plays Paul Keating in Paul Keating the Musical.

As with the electricity ads, the gas spot was supported with press in The Age, The Weekly Review and the MX; outdoor on café screens, train and tram interiors; radio; online; Direct Mail and bill inserts, all designed to get the right attention.
