REBORN + thedylanagency enter a joint venture
REBORN continues to broaden and strengthen its offering to market by announcing a JV with thedylanagency, founded by former BMF managing partner and ECD Dylan Taylor.
Discussions between the two parties were in play for the past six weeks – with the deal agreed March 12th.
Says Noel Magnus, managing director of REBORN: “The REBORN offering is continuing to evolve. As we seek to strengthen our strategic and creative output as well as the breadth of our offering, partnering with thedylanagency is a perfect fit. I’ve respected Dylan and his work for many, many years – and now we get to work together. Brilliant.
“Dylan and his team bring a huge reputation with them – there is perhaps no-one in Australia with better credentials when it comes to integrated communications: he’s won just about every award going, including being part of an ‘agency of the decade’ team.”
Says Taylor: “The Australian media and communications marketplace is perhaps at its most dynamic right now. REBORN has clearly positioned itself for the future. And with a strengthened team and a clear vision, we see great opportunities in this union.
“The agency business continues to evolve – ever increasing speed to market and the mass adoption of niche marketing are big drivers. Clients require more segmented targeting than ever before and personalised marketing across every channel.”
Says Magnus: “Access to experience, lack of layers and speed to solution. The market demands it – and we’ve restructured our business accordingly. The agency has won five significant pieces of new business in the past couple of weeks, added eleven new staff – and is well progressed with its plans to launch an overseas office mid this year.”
Says Taylor: “This collaboration is very exciting on many levels – both brands have strong momentum and this move will only amplify that. With a fully integrated approach across Mainstream, Digital, Direct and Media we now offer one of the most innovative and flexible models in the Australian marketplace – we have extremely strong credentials across the entire communications spectrum.”
The JV’s Management Group includes: Sabir Samtani, David Easton, Noel Magnus, Dylan Taylor and Matt Hill.
A selection of clients across the two businesses include: Nestle, HSBC, Lion (Drinks & Dairy), Colgate Palmolive, Tic Tac, Dyson, Manicare, ADMA, Chamberlain, Midori, Young Guns, Guess, FINSIA and Peroni.
thedylanagency has already relocated to REBORN’s Chippendale offices.

Two agencies known for producing absolutely nothing of notoriety.
A winning match.
So that’s what you’ve been up to DT.
So the new name is Dylan Reborn?
ha – the second attempt at a PR shot. Maybe you should go for a third.
Wow, couple of guys have the balls to pony up and give it a crack and that’s a reason to rip on them. Lolcats, do tell us the name of your successful JV then? I’m sure you;re a household name.
Knew Dylan would stay in the wings too long. Given the guy’s track record, I’d say this JV would be worth keeping an eye on.
Good luck guys. No small thing trying to make it OS. Aust needs more of that type of thing I reckon. And I’d say, based on his recent comments, so would people like Dan Wieden. More people making/doing their own thing.
Definitely keeping a sharp eye on this. Sure to be a success…
Noel and Dylan together – a winning combination
Things happening over at REBORN – a place to watch for sure.
All they need now is some clients.
look fwd to seeing some very exciting brochures soon
