moth.jpgA crowd of around 300 from Sydney’s creative community attended the opening of Moth Projects art exhibition last night.

The launch was a first of what is to be a continuous art initiative, where the creative space is transformed to a gallery. Across two floors hung 23 of Michael Herron’s artworks, a contemporary Australian landscape painter who explores the abstraction of the natural environment. The show consisted of both paintings and works on paper, and will remain hung for a considerable amount of time.

The space will be open through Saturday and Sunday, 12 – 4pm.
