Fiji Airways appoints iris Sydney as its creative agency of record for an additional two years

Fiji-airways-plane.jpgFiji Airways, Fiji’s National Airline has announced that it has appointed iris, the global creative innovation network, for an additional two years as its creative agency. iris Sydney was appointed for an initial one-year period last year following a competitive pitch.

iris will now be tasked with leading delivery of strategic and creative brand activity, as part of a new two year contract, in order to build on the positioning for Fiji Airways – and stimulate awareness and demand for the airline.

iris started working with Fiji Airways in April, 2014 to build up long term brand awareness following the airline’s rebrand from Air Pacific. Partnering with the airline across every stage of the customer journey, iris then launched a campaign with participation at the core; Welcome To Our Home – highlighting the truly distinctive and personal Fijian spirit of the brand.

The latest iteration of this brand platform was the ‘Home Away From Home’ campaign film featuring surfing legend Kelly Slater, talking of his love for Fiji after 20 years of visiting the country, and the warmth of the welcome that has become a signature of the new brand identity.
