McDonald’s NZ ‘Mac every meal better’ with Big Mac Sauce promotion and campaign via DDB NZ
Big Mac fans’ dreams came true last week when Macca’s announced that for a limited time its special, tangy sauce would be served up in handy little tubs at restaurants nationwide – with every Mac combo.
To give the Big Mac hero, that special sauce, its moment to shine, Macca’s teamed up with DDB to create an amusing 30″ TVC encouraging customers to try the sauce with every day items to see if they can ‘Mac it Better’.
Says Jo Mitchell, head of marketing for McDonald’s New Zealand: “A Kiwi favourite, the Big Mac burger has a loyal following and we are confident fans will push the boundaries applying Big Mac sauce to anything and everything to see just how many things they might be able to ‘Mac it Better’. This TVC has fun with this notion, exploring just some of the options of where this famous sauce could be used and we’re pleased with the result.”
Says Shane Bradnick, executive creative director, DDB: “Almost everything is that little bit better with that special Big Mac magic. Mac it better. Everyone, Mac it better.”

I remember the days when everyone used to enjoy McDonalds advertising. Funny insightful and on the odd occasion even moving. This lacks any of those attributes and is sad reflection of where the once mighty brand now sits in the world. A pale reflection of what it once was.
crap. sorry
