NRMA Insurance launches ‘Ultimate Bronco’ activation via M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment

Ultimate_Bronco.jpgFans of the Brisbane Broncos NRL team are now able to predict who they think will be the best performing players in each game, building the ‘Ultimate Bronco‘ throughout the NRL season. The Ultimate Bronco is a unique interactive activation and digital platform for the NRMA Insurance sponsorship of the Brisbane Broncos by M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment.

Using real-time game data, the Ultimate Bronco will combine the Broncos who have performed best in each match. The simulation will focus on players’ lungs, arms, legs, brain, shoulders, hands and feet.

Tipsters whose predictions match, or come closest to, the Ultimate Bronco are in the running for great weekly prizes.

The fan who has the highest total score at the end of the season will win a trip to the 2015 NRL Telstra Premiership Grand Final experience, including flights, accommodation and tickets to the big game.

The concept, devised by M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment, was brought to life by M&C Saatchi’s digital production hub MAKE.

The site https://nrmaultimatebronco.com.au includes videos featuring NRMA Insurance brand ambassadors and Broncos legends Shane Webcke and Justin Hodges. In the first 24 hours Sport and Entertainment released 3 videos via the Brisbane Broncos Facebook page, accumulating over 48,000 organic views.

Says John Lewis, NRMA Insurance, SGIO and SGIC senior manager for advertising and sponsorship channel: “The activation is a smart, innovative and highly engaging way for us to support the fans and the fans to support their beloved team.”

Says Jamie Gilbert-Smith, managing director, M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment: “We really wanted to give Brisbane Broncos fans a completely different way to express their passion and knowledge of their team. The Ultimate Bronco is a highly interactive twist on Fantasy Football that really demonstrates what the NRMA brand is about; data driven insights that lead to a better customer experience. It’s footy, NRMADE Better.”
