The appointment of Swartz adds to the company’s global leadership team and extend the reach and scale of Thunderhead’s market impact.

With over 15 years’ experience in senior roles within enterprise software multinationals, Swartz is well positioned to lead the expansion into the Australian market. He has been with Thunderhead since 2013 and has successfully grown the company’s footprint in Middle East & Africa. Prior to joining Thunderhead, he built and led high performance teams in the Middle East & Africa at Dimension Data and TIBCO, and was responsible for establishing IBM’s highly successful enterprise marketing management business in the sub-Saharan Africa region.

Says Swartz: “The ANZ market is a key growth region for Thunderhead and the appetite for a solution like Thunderhead’s is huge. The market is known for its adoption of new technology and many Australian brands are focused on customer engagement as a strategic differentiator. As the provider of the first purpose-built customer engagement solution, we’re in a prime position to help brands deliver against that strategy.”

Swartz will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing further strategic partnerships, including the agency community, and supporting Thunderhead’s established customer base.

In the US, Sally Slarke, who’s background is in business development, digital marketing and sales and marketing leadership, takes on a new role to lead Thunderhead’s ONE Engagement Hub sales in North America, and further develop agency relationships.
