Director Damian Walshe-Howling joins Guilty

International award-winning film maker, Damian Walshe-Howling, has joined the roster of Guilty directors.

Walshe-Howling’s highly successful career as an actor, which spans over 25 years, lends itself to a natural flair for directing powerful performance. Weaving potent visual aesthetics with honesty and just an edge of humour is what marks his unique style. His work already spans the breadth of film making genres from drama to international documentaries.

Walshe-Howling’s short films have enjoyed extensive International Festival success and garnered worldwide sales including MTV Europe. His latest short Suspended, which explores a young boy’s world of frightening magical possibility, recently screened in the cinephiles section of Cannes Film Festival.

More recently, Walshe-Howling has directed a TVC for L’Oreal, via McCann Melbourne, eliciting genuine performances in a charming piece for ‘Fibralogy’, as well as the Federal Govt. ‘Our Watch’ campaign.
