Black Cats on Hol.jpgSydney-based Eardrum leant an ear to many of the big winners at the recent Loerie Awards in Durban, South Africa, which recognises work from Africa and the Middle East.

Two campaigns picked up gold and silver in the radio category, ‘Pillow Talk‘ for Le BHV and ‘Love Don’t Give a Toss‘ for Lotto from Impact BBDO and a further gold was awarded in Effective Creativity for Rescue Radio via Geometry Global Dubai.

Says Ralph van Dijk (left), founding creative director, Eardrum: “To have so many campaigns recognised is a fantastic result. It’s also great vindication for the agencies that realise the difference an audio specialist can make in getting the most out of their brilliant ideas. Even if it did mean putting actors in an actual bed.”

The wins continue the successful partnership with Eardrum and Impact BBDO. Last year their Commercial Insurance campaign picked up over 90 awards, including Cannes Gold, a D&AD pencil (the first in the region for 20 years) and ‘World’s Best’ ad in the Big Won Rankings.
