Whybin\TBWA Melbourne ECD Paul Reardon’s speaker session for ‘MADC Presents’ a success

Last week, the popular “MADC Presents” series hosted Cannes Lions jury president Paul Reardon. The Whybin\TBWA ECD shared an insider’s view on what it takes to win radio gold at Cannes and more importantly what separates Gold from Grand Prix.

It was a fascinating insight into what really goes on in a Cannes jury and the sheer workload was impressive in itself. Reardon played a bunch of finalists and went into some detail why Sound Cloud’s Berlin Wall piece (all 7 minutes 32 seconds of it) was selected for Grand Prix, despite it being self-dubbed The Most Unbearable Radio Spot Ever. It was funny, it was entertaining, it was educational. With Reardon giving away bottles of Veuve as spot prizes, the evening was also quite special for a lucky few.
