The South Australia Branch of the Association for Data-driven Marketing and Advertising (ADMA) and its local 30Below network have organised a two-day mini marketing festival in Adelaide to help local marketers strengthen their digital skills for the future.

The mini marketing festival takes place 12-13 October 2015 at the Adelaide Science Exchange, 55 Exchange Street, and runs from 9.00am-8.00pm on the 12th; 7.30am to 8.00pm on the 13th.

Over the two days, marketers will complete the ADMA Digital Marketing Strategy course, where they will learn the principles of putting together highly effective digital strategies, get to grips with the role of digital in a business, learn more about the process of buying online media, and find out what new technologies will dominate marketing in the future.

The course will include a number of guest speakers like Andre Eikmeier, founder of the successful online wine site Vinomofo, and Russ Tucker, creative director, Whybin\TBWA\Digital Arts Network and Eleven PR.

On the evening of Monday, 12 October, there will be a Buzz into the Boardroom event, a popular ADMA tradition whereby young marketers get to quiz and speed network with senior marketing experts about their careers and accomplishments.

Delegates will also get to hear from two digital marketing experts at pre-course morning and evening sessions on Tuesday, 13 October. These comprise:

•    A breakfast presentation with Steve Brennen (above, left), senior director, marketing and advertising sales, eBay. Brennen will talk about taking technology to the next level.

Says Sam Jeffries, branch chair: “The ADMA South Australia Branch and 30Below community have worked hard to make our mini marketing festival the premier 2015 event for South Australian marketers wanting to keep abreast of the latest marketing trends. This year, our mini festival will allow marketers to invest in their skills in the rapidly evolving world of digital, network with leading marketers at the top of their game, and leave inspired and ready to advance their careers.”

Cost to attend the full two days of the mini festival is $975 which includes the course, Buzz into the Boardroom and both morning/evening presentations as well as morning/afternoon tea and lunch. Those pressed for time can book to attend either the breakfast session ($30) or evening session ($30) or pay $25 to attend the Buzz into the Boardroom event.
