a2-hero.jpgSydney based production company Engine, in collaboration with AnalogFolk, has created a quirky TVC for a2 Milk’s American launch.

Says Robert Connelly, creative director, Engine: “We were very excited to be working again with the creative team at AnalogFolk Sydney. One of the main challenges from the start was to give the characters a real sense of life and presence.

a2-cow.jpg“We identified early on in the process that each character needed to have their own style and

movement. We spent a lot of time filming around the Engine office, studying how people sip, slurp and dunk in milk.

“This footage was then matched in animation to create engaging and fun characters.”

The spot incorporates both 2D and subtle 3D techniques that utilises Engine’s expertise in direction, character design and animation. It will launch a2 Milk into the American market over the coming months.
