JD Sunset[1].jpgDirector Paul Goldman has teamed up with Renegade Films producers Lucy Maclaren and Joe Connor for a new documentary ‘The Diplomat, The Artist and The Suit’ which airs tonight Tuesday 13th October, on ABC1 at 9.30pm.

This is the story of a three man creative partnership that over forty years has been responsible for a legacy of distinctive, provocative and memorable buildings.

Whilst it may seem miles away from Paul’s advertising work and previous documentary  ‘Such Is Life’ about troubled footballer Ben Cousins, ‘The Diplomat The Artist and The Suit’ looks closely at the personalities and the motivations of the men behind the iconic buildings of Denton Corker Marshall, from individual dwellings to The Stonehenge visitors centre and the design and construction of the stark black box that is the new Australian pavilion for the Venice Biennale.

Renegade Films had the project in development for over two years and it was great to bring Paul, with his passion for architecture, on board to bring a truly personal perspective on a great story of Australian design and innovation.
