Spark44 Sydney has announced the appointment of Ryan Moore as its new creative director. A native Californian, Moore is new to Sydney but not to Spark44, having been with the agency’s Los Angeles office for more than four years.

In his new role, Moore (pictured left with Jasmin Bedir, managing director) will continue to champion the Jaguar and Land Rover brands for the Australian market, while maintaining strong relationships with global counterparts.

Says Moore: “It’s been an amazing experience to see Spark44 grow and develop over the past few years. I’m proud of what we’ve done in North America, and Australia represents such a fantastic opportunity to create effective and inspiring work. I’m excited to be here.”

The hiring of new creative staff goes hand in hand with the agency’s move to new office space in North Sydney. The new office at 65 Berry Street puts the agency in close proximity to media partner Mindshare and increases room for the agency’s growth.

Says Bedir: “Whilst the geographical proximity to Mindshare is quite practical, it’s the spiritual closeness to all our Jaguar Land Rover partner agencies that are crucial to the success of our new agency model and ultimately Jaguar Land Rover.”

Spark44’s move to the Berry Street location represents the final stage of the transition from the former Morris & Partners location. Last December, Spark44 acquired the M&P agency and its relationship with Jaguar Land Rover. Now fully operational, it is Spark44’s goal to continue to provide a communications offering to Jaguar and Land Rover that delivers the impact that these two iconic brands truly deserve. The focus will be on digital and social initiatives as well as innovative local activations relevant to the Australian audience.

Spark44 was founded in 2011 as a joint venture with Jaguar Land Rover. Today, Spark44 is operating out of 18 agency hubs in 16 countries as JLR’s demand-creation partner.
