BADC image.jpgThe Brisbane Advertising and Design Club has announced that two new players in the Brisbane market – advertising, media and marketing recruiter SevenTwenty, and TVC dispatch

company Group IMD – have signed up as Gold sponsors for the 2015 Awards.

Along with this year’s Platinum Sponsor – The Empire Post – SevenTwenty and Group IMD will join the ranks of current Gold Sponsors Cutting Edge, The Post Lounge and Platypus Graphics.

This year’s BADC Awards are now sold out – three weeks ahead of the event – and will have the largest capacity in five years, with more than 450 tickets sold. The Awards will be held on 24th October at the Hilton Hotel in Brisbane City.

Says Allen Smith, managing director of SevenTwenty: “Queensland is a state that is producing some incredible work on the world stage, but so often goes unnoticed by many aspiring advertising and marketing creatives who look abroad for opportunities. As a recruiter, we want to be a brand advocate for Brisbane. The BADC Awards is a great night showcasing Brisbane’s work, and we want to be a part of that and celebrate the successes together.”

Says Lauren Yelavich, business development manager at Group IMD: “The BADC is a notorious and well respected industry body. Everyone you speak to has made memories and friends through it, throughout their career. For IMD, the BADC is a great way to create awareness as a new brand in the Brisbane area, and also to build long-lasting relationships. It’s also a lot of fun, and a great way to entertain our Queensland clients.”

Says Garry Smith, president, BADC: “We are thrilled to welcome SevenTwenty and Group IMD as Gold Sponsors this year. They are two companies that have a fantastic amount to offer our market, and have proved they are willing to give something back and support our industry’s special night.

“We wish them all the best in Brisbane and thank them for their contributions.”
