Independent creative Agency, The Taboo Group, has developed a video to drive awareness of the platform and communicate the key benefit of ‘open access’. Shot by Betty Wants In and directed by Tropfest winner Jack White, the video shows that you no longer need to be a Gordon Ghecko clone to get fair access to IPOs.

Developed by OnMarket BookBuilds, it’s a digital gateway that gives DIY investors access to the lucrative investment market for the first time. The app and website give all investors access to the same capital raising opportunities on the same terms as institutional investors.

The launch, attended by the who’s who of the finance, fintech, and start-up communities, saw the Prime Minister place a $2000 bid into Bitcoin Groups’s IPO. The launch event also marked the release of the OnMarket video, which features Hollywood actor James Mackay.

Says Nick Motteram, managing director at OnMarket BookBuilds: “Working with Taboo was fantastic from the initial brief to the final product, we could not have been happier with the professionalism and quality of work from the team.  Most importantly, the video got a great reception at the launch and we think it really sums up what we’re about and helps demystify the IPO process for everyday investors.”
