Fenton Stephens Melbourne expands team hiring Sean Birk in the role of digital creative director

Fenton-Stephens-pic.jpgFenton Stephens Melbourne has appointed Sean Birk to the role of digital CD, with a mandate to drive the digital capability of the agency as a whole. Birk will work alongside CD Alex Fenton, not the first time he’s been paired with a Fenton.

Says Alex Fenton: “I knew Sean had previously worked as DCD alongside my brother Paul Fenton who was then CD at The Furnace Sydney. When Sean came to Melbourne looking for a gig, I sought Paul’s opinion, ‘Good guy with a good brain’, was his response. I couldn’t agree more and we’re happy to welcome Sean to our expanding team in what has been the biggest of our ten years as an agency.

“We all know that it’s less about digital ideas, and more about ideas in a digital world. Sean’s experience across disciplines will not only bring energy to our online offering but add to the integrated solutions we offer our clients.”

Birk has had stints in similar roles at OgilvyInteractive Cape Town and The Furnace Sydney.
